She gained recognition at a young age by winning prizes in major international piano competitions, including the \u201cG. B. Viotti\u201d Competition in Vercelli, the \u201cJ. Iturbi\u201d Competition in Valencia, the \u201cCasagrande\u201d Competition in Terni, and the \u201cVan Cliburn\u201d Competition in Fort Worth. In 2000 she was named a Laureate of the Esther Honens International Piano Competition in Calgary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She has performed in some of the world\u2019s most prestigious concert halls, including the Berlin Philharmonie, Vienna\u2019s Musikverein, Salzburg\u2019s Festspielhaus and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, both as a soloist and with leading orchestras. Since 1999 she has formed a piano duo with her husband Roberto Prosseda, with whom she recorded, among other projects, Mendelssohn\u2019s complete works for piano four hands for Decca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A graduate of the \u201cL. Cherubini\u201d Conservatory in Florence and the Imola Piano Academy, she studied with renowned musicians such as Maria Tipo, Paul Badura-Skoda, Dmitri Bashkirov and Leon Fleisher. She is currently piano professor at the \u201cL.
