The first half will feature the established Gradus String Quartet, while the second half will showcase young musicians from the Piacenza Bimbi in Musica Association and the Ars Nova Association.

The Gradus Quartet, together with the young musicians from the associations and conducted by Paola Busconi, presents a program designed to foster a dialogue—both on stage and through sound—between different generations of performers and composers. The common thread is the central role of string instruments in the 18th- and 19th-century repertoire, explored through a journey back in time featuring masterpieces by Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, and Pachelbel.

But there will also be some musical detours and unscripted surprises…

A few words about the musicians:

The Gradus String Quartet (Paolo Volta and Stefano Grossi on violin, Luca Meschini on viola, and Aldo Farina on cello) was formed in 1992 by a group of musicians trained in the Milan area, boasting extensive experience in both symphonic and chamber ensembles—ranging from the RAI Milan Orchestra to the Pomeriggi Musicali. The young musicians from the Bimbi in Musica and Ars Nova associations in Piacenza are talented youths aged 12 to 16 who have been bringing their energy to concert stages across Northern Italy for years. Both associations promote musical culture, introducing young people to string instruments and orchestral playing as a valuable social activity.

And finally, a word about the instruments themselves: our Fenice instruments—crafted specifically for beginners (though suitable for others, too)—make learning easier and more exciting. They are comfortable, offer excellent sound quality, are meticulously crafted, and provide outstanding value for money.

At our Milan headquarters, we inspect and fine-tune each one individually to ensure that our dealers and teachers receive instruments that contribute to a rewarding educational experience. We believe that starting out with a quality instrument is the key to becoming a good musician!

After the performance, we invite you to visit our FareastViolins – Fenice stand (No. 53) for information and to try out our instruments.

[266],"event_type_2":[766
post-60239","ajde_events","type-ajde_events","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","event_location-area-eventi-padiglione-2-en","event_organizer-fareast-violins-far-east-trade-consultants-en","event_type-strings-en","event_type_2-saturday-3
["GET
