This study day aims to present the figure and musical production of composer Daniele Maffeis and highlight the points of contact with Cremonese composers Vincenzo Petrali, Amilcare Ponchielli, and Federico Caudana, through the analysis of some connections in terms of musical production and the use of sources.
Organized by the Cremona State Library and the M° Daniele Maffeis ETS Foundation, with the participation of the Faculty of Musicology of Cremona, the Cremona Conservatory, and the “Angelo Mai” Library of Bergamo.
