Cremona Musica Young Band Contest

A contest dedicated to young bands (maximum average age of 25 among band members) that rewards not only the quality of the songs presented, but above all the creative ability and artistic identity of the ensemble. Original compositions (both lyrics and music) will be valued, together with a conscious, personal and innovative approach to the use of musical instruments (Originals section).

The contest also includes a specific Covers section, in which interpretive quality, artistic personality and expressive effectiveness of the performances will be evaluated, regardless of how much the original song has been reworked.

The competition is organized by Cremona Musica within the Electric Sound Village, with organization, consultancy and technical-artistic support from the CPM Music Institute. The initiative, coordinated by Artistic Directors Luca Nobis (CPM Educational Director) and Stefano Prinzivalli (Head of the Electric Sound Village), aims to showcase the creativity of musicians, placing at its center the relationship between musician and instrument maker as a fundamental element of the expressive and artistic process.
