Info
SYNTH-WERK was founded in Munich out of a passion for modular synthesizers, electronic music, and the pioneering work of Bob Moog. The company continues the tradition of the great American modular systems of the 1960s with instruments handcrafted in Germany, with particular attention to the fidelity of the original circuits, components, and construction methods. Over time, research into Moog systems has also been accompanied by an interest in the work of Harald Bode, another key figure in the history of electronic music technology.

What they do
SYNTH-WERK designs and builds 5U-format analog modular modules and systems based on original 1960s circuits, using traditional assembly techniques, select components, and, where appropriate, vintage NOS parts. The range includes oscillators, filters, amplifiers, sequencers, processors, and effects, as well as complete systems inspired by historic Moog modular configurations, such as the Model 10, Model 15, System 35, and System 55
All modules, systems and rack instruments are hand-built in Munich. Since 2024, SYNTH-WERK has also continued the legacy of Moon Modular, expanding its catalog with a range of 5U modules that combines the historical philosophy of classic systems with solutions developed for the modern world of modular synthesis.
In Fiera
For the Italian public, this will be a rare opportunity to meet one of Europe’s most specialized manufacturers in the 5U modular format and discover up close instruments built according to a philosophy deeply rooted in the history of analog synthesis.
At Soundmit it will be possible to explore the world of SYNTH-WERK, from circuits inspired by the great modular systems of the 1960s to the most recent evolutions of the catalog and the continuity of the Moon Modular project: a meeting of history, artisanal construction and contemporary sound research
