The tenth studio album by the English rock band Uriah Heep was called “Firefly,” and two young partners-before they were entrepreneurs, two music lovers-chose this title as the name for their fledgling company: this was on December 15, 1984.

The company began marketing high-quality vinyl and has continuously evolved: today its core business is the sale of musical instruments and sound equipment.
