Cremona Musica International Exhibitions and Festival, Europe’s most prestigious music fair, is just around the corner and will be held in the city of Stradivari from September 27-29. RSI (Radiotelevisione svizzera di lingua italiana) is celebrating this annual event with a series of episodes dedicated to the world of violin making, full of curiosities and anecdotes. A special titled “From Wood to Music,” scheduled from Sept. 2 to 30 every Monday at 3:35 p.m. on Rete Due, with Sergio Albertoni as host. The series is part of Caffè Zimmermann, the network’s in-depth space dedicated to cultured music.
It will also be possible to follow the broadcast from the RSIapp.
In these episodes of 45′ each, we will have the opportunity to hear the live voices of 13 internationally renowned master violin makers and Virginia Villa, general director of the Violin Museum in Cremona.
