meticulous attention to detail and the pursuit of perfection

Info

I was born in Florence in July 1965 and since childhood I have nurtured a strong passion for music and musical instruments. At fourteen, my father gave me my first classical guitar, something I had long desired but was unattainable due to my family’s limited financial resources

I learned to play that instrument with the help of friends at the church I attended, and from that moment on, my passion for music grew unstoppable. In fact, I immediately spent my first paycheck on a 1979 Fender Stratocaster, and this marked the beginning of a musical journey that would lead me to make the choices that, in later years, would shape my decision to start building. Over time, the electric bass replaced the guitar as my instrument of choice, pushing me to seriously pursue musical studies.

I attended the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory in Florence, where I graduated in double bass. Although I didn’t choose to pursue a career as a professional musician, my dedication to music led me to undertake classical instrument making, a craft I developed under the guidance of Master Luthier Luciano Maggi

Exposure

Specializing in the construction of classical lutherie instruments, I remain attached to electric instruments, especially electric basses, which I continue to make

My production, although limited, is characterized by meticulous attention to detail and the pursuit of acoustic perfection
