The 2025 Cremona Musica Awards unveil the art that breathes new life into music.

Cremona, September 3, 2025 – The prestigious Cremona Musica Awards once again celebrate the personalities and institutions that have achieved excellence in the world of music. Presented during the annual Cremona Musica International Exhibitions and Festival, scheduled for September 26–28, 2025, the awards represent one of the most anticipated moments of the event. The dissemination of great music and the values associated with tradition are, as always, the guiding principles for the scientific committee and management of Cremona Musica in selecting those who have distinguished themselves in the past year among the protagonists of international music.

Divided into categories: composition, performance, projects, communication, and, since 2018, guitar lutherie, the awards are presented during the fair directly by the President of CremonaFiere, symbolizing the bond between the city that represents Italian musical excellence worldwide and the event.

The renowned Japanese violinist Midori won the “String Performance” award for her impeccable technique and humanitarian commitment, while Francesco Filidei, an internationally renowned composer from Pisa, was recognized for the innovation of his work. The Imola Piano Academy – Franco Scala won the “Progetto” award. for his crucial role in nurturing young talents. Bruno Canino, the great Neapolitan pianist and composer, received the “A Life for the Piano” award for his influence and tireless work. The Accordion category was won by Elio Bertolini, director of the Museo Impronte dei Grandi Fisarmonicisti, for his commitment to preserving the instrument’s culture. Finally, the Guitar award was given to Valeria Torregrossa.

An important element in the event’s melody, as every year, is the awards themselves. For the 2025 edition of the Awards, they will be transformed into unique works of art by the artist M’horò, in collaboration with Lusardi Antique Modern & Contemporary Art. These sculptures, crafted from aluminum and copper, transform industrial waste into an expression of harmony and contemplation through delicate carvings, uniting sculptural genius with the elegance of musical instruments. Art critics and galleries have long been acclaimed by this sculptor with a strong ecological dimension.

With over 400 exhibitors from 35 countries, Cremona Musica International Exhibitions and Festival confirms its position as an event where tradition and innovation merge, creating the most important music fair in Italy and the world.
