Cremona, September 27, 2025 – The sixth edition of the PianoLink International Amateurs Competition, the international competition dedicated to amateur pianists from around the world, under the artistic direction of Andrea Vizzini and Roberto Prosseda, concluded with great success during the Cremona Musica International Exhibitions and Festival at the Teatro Ponchielli in Cremona.
The overall winner of the sixth edition was Cheuk Hin Ivan Wong (Hong Kong). The general winners were Marco Cima (Italy), Nicola Ormando (Italy), Robert Finley (USA), and Ken Iisika (Japan). The Audience Award – Cremona Musica 2025 was awarded to Tomoko Inoue, Japan. The competitors were judged by a high-profile jury composed of respected figures from the international music world: Viktoria Postnikova – President; Alessandro Deljavan (Italy); Bruno Monsaingeon (France); Muza Rubackyte (Lithuania); and Stuart Isacoff (USA).
“This competition, born in 2020 from a visionary idea hidden in PianoLink’s archives, has demonstrated for six years that amateurs are the true protagonists of the musical world,” explains Vizzini, emphasizing that “this year too, thanks to the invaluable support of partners like Fazioli and Cremona Musica, we welcomed competitors from four continents. The overall winner hails from Hong Kong: it is a source of great joy and pride for us to have recognized and rewarded him.”
The competition continues to stand out for the quality of the performances and the expertise of the artistic committee, confirming its position as one of the most anticipated and authoritative events in the international amateur music scene.
