450 exhibitors, more than 200 events Sept. 27-29
Cremona, Sept. 26, 2024 – Everything is ready for the Cremona Musica International Exhibitions and Festival, where international music meets Sept. 27-29, for the world’s most important event dedicated to musical instruments and the only Italian and European fair of its kind, at CremonaFiere.
There are many events during these three days dedicated entirely to music where it will be possible to find 450 exhibitors from 35 different countries including Europe, the U.S., Canada, Asia and Australia, and an event calendar of more than 200 appointments including concerts, performances, presentations, master classes.
So many new features for the 2024 edition, ample space also for electric sound with Electric Sound Village, which will act as a conjunction between acoustic, classical, modern and electric violin making with an exhibition space that marks the approach to a new audience of music lovers, passing through the Cremona Band Festival, dedicated to band music, without forgetting Mondomusica, known worldwide for high-quality violin making. TheAcoustic Guitar Village will be the setting for the exhibition of guitars, mandolins, ukuleles, charangos and will host master classes in violin and guitar making, concerts, seminars and competitions for emerging artists. Space will also be given to piano thanks to Piano Experience dedicated to piano and keyboard instruments, and to accordion with theAccordion Show.
Another novelty will be the area dedicated to organs, an excellence of the territory in which the organ art of Crema is a protagonist.

For a unique experience, not only concerts and live events but also panel discussions and meetings on topical issues such as gender equality in music or social inclusion. History, culture and music come together on Sunday with a concert by Alessandra Sonia Romano, who will play a violin survivor of the Shoah that belonged to Eva Maria Levy, who was deported to the Auschwitz Birkenau concentration camp in 1943 along with her mother and brother.
Cremona’s historic center will light up with concerts and performances in Piazza Duomo with “Cremona Musica Downtown,” and “Cremona Downtown Giovani,” where various artists and performers will fill the air with music, tradition and innovation. , as well as a gala evening on Saturday 28 at the Violin Museum’s Arvedi Auditorium with the involvement of the Stauffer Academy.
Special appointments also at Teatro Ponchielli on Friday, Sept. 27 at 9 p.m. visionary violinist Roby Lakatosaccompaniedby artist Michael Guttman will perform, and on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 6 p.m. legendary pianist Marc-André Hamelin will take the stage for a piano recital.
