Info
Fueguia 1833 is a perfume laboratory, an art and ethnobotanical project that combines scientific research and artistic exploration in the creation of perfumes. Founded in 2010 in Buenos Aires by Julian Bedel — a self-taught artist, musician, luthier, and researcher — Fueguia draws its inspiration from Latin America’s rich culture, history, and landscapes. The brand is fully vertically integrated: every stage, from botanical research to formulation to packaging, takes place within its own supply chain, ensuring traceability and narrative control over the entire artisanal process.
The dialogue between music and scent runs throughout FUEGUIA’s work and has inspired projects dedicated to musical instruments and the materials from which they are made. Among them are olfactory explorations connected to Stradivari violins, Gustavo Santaolalla’s Ronroco and Leonard Cohen’s guitar.
At the Electric Sound Village, FUEGUIA creates a dialogue between two invisible yet deeply emotional forms of expression: sound and scent.
